Julie's baby shower

A couple of weekends ago, I had the pleasure of co-hosting a baby shower for my best friend, Julie. She is pregnant with her second little girl so we did a small monogram shower for her.

Here were the yummy cupcakes from Muddy's complete with cupcake toppers made by Natalie at http://sticklesfamilyblog.blogspot.com/. They were soo cute.

I didn't get a picture of the finished product but then again, I also left a fruit tray in the refrigerator for the entire shower...pregnancy brain is in full effect.

30?

This past weekend I turned 30. Yeppers, I always imagined a HUGE thirtieth birthday party but with being knocked up and all, it didn't sound that appealing. So, Tom took me shopping both Friday and Saturday. We also went out to eat for lunch AND dinner on Saturday both my choices. Sunday my mom had us over for my favorite...chicken and dumplings! Of course, I only got pictures of the latter.

24 weeks!

Nice action shot :)

I've got to get back into taking pictures!!

All in all, 30 isn't so bad so far :)

Award!

This award was also given to me by There's No Place Like Memphis Mama. Thank you! I hope my Thomas is half as cute as her little L. To accept, I need to link back and thank the blogger that tagged me (already done, see above), then tell ya'll 7 things about myself and tag 15 wonderful bloggers.

1. The only pregnancy cravings I have had are hot dogs and soup. Random.

2. My feet have already grown 1/2 a size with pregnancy.

3. I absolutely can't wait till Fall : decor, new tv shows, cooler weather, new clothes! I may even decorate this weekend.

4. One of my front two teeth is fake but no one can ever tell. My mom accidently hit me in the mouth with a softball when I was a preteen.

5. I have 13 nieces and nephews with one more on the way. Our baby will have plenty of cousins!

6. I turn thirty in a few weeks and want to do something memorable but have no idea what.

7. I honestly think I love my husband more every day and I'm not saying that to be cheesy. It truly amazes me.

I'm going to tag everyone that reads this as I don't know if even 15 people read my blog. ha! Have a great Tuesday!

Revealment Party

As everyone knows by now, we are having a boy!!! We did not find out at the ultrasound. We had the tech put the results in an envelope and we opened it with our families that night at our revealment party! We had everyone either dress in blue or pink depending up on what gender they thought the baby was.

We had a few appetizers and some papa john's pizza, my favorite!! I could literally drink that garlic sauce. Oh and of course, Muddy's cupcakes were there too.

Tom's mom passed away the week before our party. She had been looking so forward to it. I found pictures of her in both pink and blue to put out. We also had a board with our favorite boy and girl names on it. We had everyone vote as they came in on their favorite name.

The girl votes:

And boy votes...Tom cheated, he wore a blue shirt with a pink tie :)

Its a boy!

I love this picture...its Tom showing everyone the baby's...manhood :)

The boy name that won was Thomas James Fontana, Jr. which is good because that is what we are going with! He will be called Thomas. We can't wait to meet him!

Before and After...Living Room

Thought I would try to catch up with some before and after of our living room!

Before (again, before old owners moved out):

And...after!

These pics were taken while it was set up for our revealment party...we usually don't have an easel just hanging out in our dining room. :)
